Find Yourself

On this #pride2023 Weekend for many cities around the world, as we joyously and defiantly celebrate being our full #lgbtqiaplus selves, there are still many #youngpeople struggling to know who they are, afraid to buck the systemic LGBTQIA-phobias holding them down. And this is why I am so proud of this one-year anniversary of imi.guide.
Imi.guide is a simple, beautiful tool to assist #teens in exploring their identities and reducing the impacts of sexual minority #stress.  To date, there are over 65,000 young people who accessed the tool, but there are many more that need to.  It's the collaborative efforts of It Gets Better Project, CenterLink, and Hopelab (where I led the initiative to bring this tool to life) that demonstrate the power of #ecosystems and #humancentereddesign.
So Happy Pride! And thank you to all the #queer teens who contributed their wisdom and talent to make this tool real.
Finally, if you know a teen who might need a tool like this, share the link - https://imi.guide/ - with them.
