Friends of ILN, Craig Joseph, MD and Jerome Pagani, PhD, recently published their book: “Designing for Health: The Human-Centered Approach”. Their book portrays a system that is cumbersome and “user-unfriendly,” full of experiences that are sub-optimal for those giving and receiving care. The principles laid out in the book serve as a blueprint for building a healthcare system that is not only more efficient and fair but also fosters a collaborative and engaging relationship between patients and doctors.
